Winemaker Steve Bird has preserved the most delicate flavours and aromas with Vernou Roll Fermentation. This unique winemaking method, using 900 litre oak barrels, Facilitates integration and complexity in the wine. Maturing for almost a year, the wine never spends more than a few days outside the barrel from crushing to bottling; Big Barrel Pinot Noir is grown at Dayvinleigh Vineyard in Marlborough. This vineyard is renowned for producing wines with astonishing purity or varietal character. The result is a beautifully textured single vineyard Pinot Noir with excellent weight and viscosity.
